Paleo Challenge
My crossfit box is having a Paleo challenge; this is the first one that I have been at the gym for. I'm so excited!
Since joining 2 months ago, I've cut out most grains. I still have rice and corn, as I understand them to be the least offensive. I also have not eaten beans or legumes either. However, I can't get away from the half and half in my coffee and tea or the occasional sweet treat. Its not as bad as some folks I know, but knowing what I know, I really need to kick it into gear and get off the sugar.
I thought blogging could help the process. After all, who journals anymore?
The challenge starts in a few weeks; right now I guess I'm in prep mode.
I plan to read up, stock up and get ready to do it right. I did a little researching,
and last time my gym did the challenge, it was for 6 weeks. You had to
do at least 3 WODs a week. I think in addition to that, I'll aim for one more WOD plus a few days of short runs. I loves running!! Very anti-Crossfit, but I can't help it. I get lost out there with the sound of my breathing...the max distance I'm doing is a 10K.
Bring it on Challenge! I will win you!
